Job Description
The DREAM Program is looking for a Summer Enrichment Coordinator to work with youth in low-income housing communities. The coordinator will plan and implement eight weeks of summer activities, including field trips and workshops, to promote healthy minds, problem-solving, art, and literacy skills. The role requires a strong commitment to serving marginalized communities and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
- Enrolled as AmeriCorps members
- 17 years or older, and be a US Citizen, US National, or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien
- Excitement and passion for youth work
- Commitment to the entire service term (June 1 - August 10, 2026)
- Ability to participate in occasional meetings or service activities remotely
- Access to a reliable phone
- Commitment to the mission of AmeriCorps and DREAM
- Desire to enhance existing skills and develop new skills necessary for service
