Experienced Slate Roofer

The Durable Slate Company is an award-winning historic roofing contractor seeking an Experienced Slate Roofer who takes pride in traditional methods and high-quality work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on slate roofing experience (historic slate preferred)
• Strong knowledge of slate installation, repair techniques, and flashing details
• Comfort working at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 4 points, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism
• Desire for a long-term career in historic preservation roofing
