Performs technical duties in the dialysis unit under the supervision of medical professionals, including preparation of equipment and monitoring of vital signs during treatment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous medical or surgical experience preferred
- Hattiesburg Clinic Dialysis Units' Hemodialysis Technician Program Certification
- Ability to use a variety of physical motions in day-to-day activity
- Tact and patience in dealing with chronically ill patients and their families
- Willingness to accept supervision from medical professionals
