Job Description
The ASC Urology RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients undergoing surgical intervention, providing planned, skilled nursing care for patients in the critical preoperative and postoperative periods, and determining that the patient is suitable for discharge.
Requirements
- Graduation certificate from an accredited RN program
- Current state licensure
- ACLS certification
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
- Knowledge of the principles of growth and development
- Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and to provide the care needed based on the department's policies and procedures
