Job Description
The Equity Project Charter School, part of The Equity Project (TEP), is seeking a School Safety Ambassador to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students, employees, and visitors. The role involves greeting visitors, communication, security protocol enforcement, and emergency response. The position requires a commitment to student well-being and adherence to school safety standards.
Requirements
- Greet visitors and maintain a visitor log.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and staff.
- Ensure school entrances and bus loading areas are secure.
- Handle emergencies and deescalate disruptive situations.
- Assist staff and emergency personnel.
- Maintain campus grounds and report security breaches.
- Arrive on time in uniform.
