Job Description
TEP Charter School is seeking a Science Teacher to join their team. This role focuses on fostering a love of science in Middle School students through a mission-driven approach prioritizing teacher growth and educational equity. Teachers will teach 45-minute blocks of science and collaborate with students and families in a state-of-the-art learning environment.
Requirements
- Deeply aligned to TEP’s mission
- Classroom experience: Minimum of 3 years of lead teaching experience, at least 2 in 4th through 9th grade classrooms (public, traditional, or private)
- Certification requirements: Teachers do not need to possess a New York State Teacher Certification, but must have a pathway to obtain NYS teaching certification.
- Instructional video: Submit an unedited video clip (maximum 15 minutes) of yourself teaching.
- Submission of Teaching and Learning: Submit one of the following three options: Portfolio of Student Work, Assessment Data, or Original Curricular Tool.
