Job Description
TEP Charter School is seeking Social Work Fellows to provide mental health services to students and families, design and implement programs promoting social and emotional health, and respond to student crises in kindergarten through 8th grade. This autonomous role involves building relationships with students and families, refining skills, and contributing to a vibrant learning environment within a school setting. Fellows will work in collaborative settings with master clinicians and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students from underserved communities.
Requirements
- Complete fluency in Spanish
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical social work experience working with children and families
- Ability to design and implement in-school prevention programming
- Ability to simultaneously manage counseling and triage crisis
- Master’s Social Work degree (degree in related field also acceptable)
- Strong relationship-building skills
