Job Description
The Exploration Company is seeking a Functional Platforms AIV Senior Engineer to help develop, produce, and operate Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, preparing, and driving system-level test campaigns for the functional platforms.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in systems design, analysis, and testing of aerospace or space-related systems
- Hands-on hardware experience
- Practical experience / contact with functional test platforms
- Experience in the development and verification of space hardware
- Spacecraft systems knowledge, with a focus on flight software, avionics, and guidance, navigation, and control.
