Job Description
The Exploration Company is developing, producing, and operating a modular space orbital vehicle called Nyx. They are establishing a mechanical testing lab in Bordeaux, France, to support internal development and qualification of hardware. The role involves performing and supporting mechanical tests and inspections within the lab, working closely with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
Requirements
- Conduct mechanical tests (tensile, compression, hardness, bending, fatigue) on metallic and polymer parts.
- Prepare test samples for metallographic analysis and microscopy.
- Operate all lab equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply and improve test procedures collaboratively with the Lab Engineer.
- Record test conditions and results in databases.
