Job Description
The Exploration Company is seeking a talented System Mechanical Engineer to join its Propulsion Systems division, responsible for system level mechanical analysis and engine arrangement for a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in mechanical engineering with strong knowledge in (thermo-)mechanical design and manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Hands-on experience developing hardware from concept to working prototypes
- Basic understanding of mechanical physics to make quick assessments and model checks for plausibility
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (Ansys, Hyperworks, Nastran)
- Experience with CAD software (Siemens NX is an asset)
- Experience in building simplified (thermo)-mechanical models in Python, C++
- Experience in testing and modelling in a dynamic load environment
- Experience with additive manufactured materials is an asset
- Experience in creating manufacturing drawings
