Requirements

Maintain proper documentation for administering medication, treatment and assessment, and provide required reports as needed.
Maintain ongoing, cooperative communication and collaboration with clients.
Implement quality assurance and oversight of medication administering and nursing activities.
Maintain ample medical and first aid supplies, adequate medications which are accurately labeled and securely store, and a safe and orderly medication area.
Triage when necessary and, as needed, respond with emergency medical care until appropriate EMS personnel arrive.
Prepare incident reports and inform all appropriate parties as required.
Obtain needed medical records and treatment as assigned.
Help train and supervise staff in relation to health safety and personal care to be provided to individuals.
Participate in staff meetings as necessary and act as a nurse consultant when requested.
Ensure and maintain the cleanliness and safety of program areas and follow safety and infection control policies at all times.
Maintain current state nursing license and required program certifications.
Provide on-call emergency coverage as required.
