Job Description
As School Nurse with The Fedcap School, you'll be a key member of a dedicated, robust team of professionals providing a holistic approach to education and support for 65 students with disabilities.
Requirements
- Current New Jersey registered professional nurse license (RN) and Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- School Nurse Certificate from the New Jersey Department of Education including coursework in special education, public health, school nursing, and child/adolescent development and clinical experience in a supervised school nurse practicum
- CPR and AED certification
- Naloxone training and familiarity with New Jersey law regarding use of naloxone as part of a school district’s emergency response plan
