Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic and growing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, processing invoices and payments, assisting with audit preparations, and handling other accounting duties as needed.
Requirements
- Assist in day-to-day accounting and loan servicing.
- Support monthly closing procedures, GAAP financial statements, and regulatory filings, including preparation of supporting documentation.
- Assist with client invoicing and vendor payments.
- Respond to audit and tax teams' requests during quarterly reviews, annual audits, and tax returns.
- Help improve accounting processes and stay updated on new technology and systems that could enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop, implement, and maintain accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, share best practices, and contribute to problem-solving and mentoring.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
