Job Description
The Globe and Mail is seeking a Digital Analytics Implementation Analyst with experience in analytics implementation and QA. The role involves owning and implementing analytics tracking, ensuring data consistency and accuracy, and building and automating validation tests. The ideal candidate will have a quantitatively focused bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in analytics implementation and QA.
Requirements
- Quantitatively focused bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience working with analytics implementation and QA
- Experience with implementing analytics tracking on websites through Google Tag Manager or custom tracking
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and DOM
- Testing experience including network debugging tools and HTTP Proxies
- Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
- Proven ability to quickly and efficiently diagnose issues
- Knowledge of web analytics and inner workings of various web analytics tools
- Proficient with writing SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
