Job Description
This Construction Quality Control Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of Quality Control on DOD construction projects located in various regions. The role requires on-site presence and collaboration with the client, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure contract compliance and high service delivery standards. The CQC Manager will prepare QC reports, perform inspections, and direct the removal of defective work.
Requirements
- Prepare and update the QC Plan
- Attend coordination meetings with the Client, subcontractors, and vendors
- Implement the “Three Phases of Control” for all definable features of work
- Perform inspections to ensure work is completed in compliance with contract requirements
- Oversee the review and approval of design and construction submittals
- Update As-Built drawings daily
- Coordinate onsite and offsite testing
- Perform punch-list and pre-final inspections
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
