Job Description
GSI is seeking a mid-to-senior level Environmental Scientist to support a growing team of governmental clients. The role involves detailed environmental assignments, including geology, biology, ecology, chemistry, and regulatory issues, with a focus on data analysis, report preparation, and field work. This position offers opportunities for advancement and learning across environmental projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field
- Familiarity with CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA, and UST programs
- Valid driver’s license
- Good working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications
- 40-hr HAZWOPER and current 8-hr refresher course
- 20-30% periodic fieldwork travel
