Production Technician

We are hiring entry-level production technicians in our Pet Food Plant. As a Production Technician, you will ensure safe and effective operations, collect and analyze data, and promote our Company culture.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience (preference for pet food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods)
• Proven track record of good attendance and consistent performance delivering consistent safety and quality
• Willingness to work in a team environment and solve problems with diverse employees
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow Safety Rules & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Physical ability to perform basic activities such as climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms, and various equipment
• Ability to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents
• Mechanical interest and operational skills
• Ability to learn new systems and communicate results
• Track quality and waste metrics
• Emphasis on sanitation/cleaning
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently
