Social Worker (Licensed)

The Jewish Board’s Youth and Family Division supports domestic violence survivors and their family members. The Social Worker is responsible for supplying necessary counseling, completing assessments, and providing support to clients along their journey from emergency housing to permanent or transitional housing.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Social Work or similar degree, LMSW or LCSW preferred
• A minimum of 1-year experience in Human Services preferred
• Willingness to work with individuals with experiences of mental illness, and substance use
• Compassion and respect for vulnerable individuals
• Patience and understanding for the sometimes-slow process of stabilization and recovery
