Job Description
Join a UK accountancy firm supporting high-growth construction and trade businesses as a remote Accountant (5+ Years Experience, ACCA Qualified). Prepare and review statutory accounts, tax returns, and VAT/CIS submissions, while providing actionable advice on cash flow and tax planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in an accountancy practice or advisory agency
- ACCA qualified (essential)
- 5+ years experience in UK-focused accountancy roles
- Deep understanding of UK accounting standards, VAT, CIS, and corporation tax
- Direct experience dealing with HMRC and UK statutory compliance
- Proficient in Xero (certifications advantageous) and ideally QuickBooks
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication, neutral English accent required
- Commercially savvy, with a proactive and client-first mindset
