Mechanical Design Head

A well-established engineering company is seeking a Mechanical Design Head to lead strategic mechanical design in the Water Engineering Sector. The role involves overseeing all aspects of mechanical design, mentoring and managing a team of skilled engineers, and delivering high-impact infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in mechanical design, including team leadership
• Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Professional registration advantageous)
• Proven experience leading mechanical design in the water or wastewater sector
• Strong background in mechanical plant design, piping systems, and pump stations
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Proficient in CAD platforms and Microsoft Project
• Solid understanding of EHS and quality compliance standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
