Job Description
Our client is looking to appoint a smart, motivated individual a Senior Energy Analyst to provide technical and economic skills to the energy team. The candidate must have a passion for the South African renewable energy market and be interested in travelling around the world.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Resource Management
- 4+ years relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience of the energy sector, business development and/or green technologies
- Understanding of the energy policies (and associated sectoral policies) in South Africa
- Existing network of key stakeholders in the Energy sector
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Problem solving skills and ability to identify, understand and quantify the viability and size of water sector opportunities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility and willingness to contribute to other organisational needs when required
- Valid SA drivers licence
- Ability to self-manage, multi-task and to prioritise
- Innovative and driven
