Underwriter - Fintech

We are looking for an experienced Underwriting Analyst to join our team. This role requires a high level of autonomy, analytical ability, and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing loan applications from start to execution, conducting in-depth due diligence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years experience in complex lending, financial services, or the legal sector.
• Previous experience in a leadership role is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with solicitors and senior management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of cases.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong risk assessment skills, with an understanding of underwriting principles.
• High level of adaptability and ability to pivot in a fast-moving business environment.
• Experience in litigation or knowledge of FCA regulations is beneficial but not required.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle variable workloads.
