Speech Pathologist

The Speech-Language Pathologist will screen, assess, and provide direct and indirect services to students with communication disorders. They will develop IEPs, assess student progress, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve their educational outcomes. Responsibilities include maintaining student records, training assistants, and collaborating with families and professionals.

Requirements

• A teaching certificate with an endorsement in speech pathology OR a Certificate of Clinical Competency in speech pathology OR a master's degree and any combination equivalent to a master's degree in speech-language pathology
• Knowledge of speech-language therapy principles, techniques, and methods
• Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding special education
• Experience with assessment, treatment planning, and student rapport
• 1+ year of prior experience preferred.
