Teacher - High School Science

The high school science teacher at Pontiac, Michigan will create a classroom environment conducive to learning and collaborate with the school and student to achieve educational goals. Responsibilities include lesson planning, curriculum implementation, student discipline, and communication with parents and special education staff. The role focuses on creating inclusive learning opportunities for all students.

Requirements

• State teacher licensure/certification with appropriate endorsements
• Bachelor’s degree with subject area emphasis and/or coursework and/or experience necessary to be deemed "highly qualified"
• Demonstrated commitment to young people’s learning success and achievement
• Demonstrated proficiency in a teaching/tutoring capacity
