Job Description
The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is seeking a Ships Afloat Program Specialist to support the operational, logistical, and customer-facing activities of the Navy Ships Afloat sales and distribution program.
Requirements
- Prior U.S. Navy experience in logistics, supply chain operations, retail/warehouse work, or military supply operations
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, retail/warehouse work, or military supply operations
- Familiarity with Navy supply systems, shipboard procurement processes, or government logistics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to lift and transport products during ship visits and deliveries
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally
