Clinical Extern

Lorenz Clinic offers an opportunity for pre-licensed clinicians to gain clinical experience through a structured, supervised internship program. Externs provide therapy to couples and families, focusing on young children and families. The clinic emphasizes a training program with master’s-level and post-master’s fellowships, while offering significantly reduced fees to those in financial need. They are located on the edge of the Minneapolis Metropolitan area.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, clinical counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or similar field from a regionally-accredited academic program.
• Must comply with requirements for licensure or board certification as a mental health professional.
• Must pass supervised practice requirements for mental health service delivery.
