Job Description
This position is for a Massage Therapist working in a locally-owned, boutique-sized studio near Hyde Park Square in Cincinnati, OH. The studio offers a tranquil work environment with up to 50 per hour, CEU reimbursement, vacation time, and career support. Candidates should be experienced in massage modalities and have excellent client communication skills.
Requirements
- Consult with clients to determine massage modality
- Develop and propose client treatment plans
- Massage muscles and soft tissue for medical conditions, injuries or wellness
- Maintain treatment records
- Basic checkout of client in Boulevard
- Light laundry as needed
- Proficient knowledge and skill of swedish, deep tissue and prenatal
- Knowledge in trigger point, sports, myofascial or neuromuscular a plus
- Great interpersonal skills
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
- Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to keep a well-groomed and professional appearance
- Perform massages on diverse clients
