Job Description
The Classroom Security Paraprofessional will work with classroom instructors and staff to support students in the classroom and provide general support for all students in the school. Responsibilities include de-escalating and managing classroom behaviors, implementing behavioral program policies, and maintaining classroom order and safety.
Requirements
- Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful
- Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Services, Kinesiology, Health or related fields are encouraged, but not required
- At least 23 years of age
- Able to work with high-risk special needs students
