RN School Nurse

As a Registered Nurse with The Menta Education Group, you will oversee the health and well-being of students, act as a resource for health education, and maintain student records and data for compliance purposes. The role involves providing first aid care, instructing students in health education, and coordinating with parents and medical providers on the health needs of students.

Requirements

• Current/Active Registered Nurse
• Considerable knowledge of medical and mental health disorders and subsequent treatment
• Considerable knowledge of child growth and development
• Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services
• Some knowledge of the school organization and the community served
• Capacity to coordinate and facilitate services between the school, local health agency, and other community resources
