Job Description
The Mental Health Center is seeking a Residential Specialist for a 24/hour, community-based adult residence. The role focuses on providing support around daily living and mental health management, focusing on independence, skill acquisition, symptom management, and creating a safe environment. The ideal candidate will build therapeutic relationships and take initiative in a supportive team setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or education/counseling
- Valid driver’s license, automobile with liability insurance, and a clean background and driving record check
- Knowledge of mental health/therapeutic interventions
- Ability to climb stairs and stay physically active
