The Security Officer enforces Museum security regulations for the public and staff, guards and patrols an assigned area, and performs various duties to prevent theft, fire, damage, and personal injury.
Requirements
- Enforce Museum rules of conduct for visitors
- Ensure adherence to security rules to prevent theft, fire, damage, and personal injury
- Direct visitors to bag inspection tables
- Inspect packages and bags entering and leaving the Museum
- Monitor and report safety conditions
- Responsible for coat checking and elevator operation
- Provide escort for the transportation of art
- Responsible for other duties as directed by Manager of Security
