Project Manager - Beccles

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a vital flood defence and river diversion project in Benacre, Beccles. This is a critical role suited to a proactive and academically capable Project Manager with a background in civil engineering.

Requirements

• Manage the delivery of all works on site, including temporary works (cofferdams and haul roads) and the permanent river diversion, ensuring safe and timely completion.
• Coordinate and control the production of ITPs, risk assessments, method statements, and site documentation, ensuring alignment with quality and environmental standards.
• Administer the NEC Option A contract, ensuring robust management of change, compensation events, and early warnings.
• Work closely with planners, commercial teams, and the client to maintain accurate programmes and forecasts.
• Produce high-quality presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, covering progress, technical planning, health and safety, and commercial performance.
• Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards, and lead site-based HSEQ reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with the Main Contractor and Designers to ensure all technical and statutory obligations are met.
• Monitor and manage site resources, plant utilisation, and logistics.
