President

The Moran Company is partnering with the Jackson Hospital Foundation to recruit the organization's next President. The President will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program to support the Hospital's mission and strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree minimum
• Five or more years of demonstrated success in a senior-level fundraising position
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build confidence and rapport among stakeholders, colleagues, and volunteers
• Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan
• Successful capital campaign experience preferred
• Strong experience with major gift programs, including identification, cultivation, and solicitation of six and seven-figure gifts
• Leadership skills to partner with and motivate board members and other volunteers
• Ability to build strong collaborative teams and actively engage with staff
• Community involvement
• Skilled at working with all levels of healthcare professionals including administrators, physicians, nurses and other healthcare personnel
• Strong and effective presentation, oral, and written communication skills
• Knowledge/experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
• A work style that promotes teamwork, innovation, motivation, and builds consensus
• Be goal-driven and possess a high degree of motivation, maturity, and energy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional appearance, and the attitude and personality to effectively deal with diverse board members, prospective major donors, physicians, volunteers, and community members
• Strong capabilities in planning, organizing, and managing
• Display a positive attitude, show concern for people and community, demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, and good listening ability
• Demonstrate schedule flexibility to accommodate Foundation commitments which do not fall within the normal 8 to 5 work schedule
