Job Description
The net.AMERICA Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineer to gather, analyze and document business requirements and design specifications of FEMA applications.
Requirements
- Design WMB, MQ & WTX hardware infrastructure
- Provide technical support and guidance to web application developers
- Provide guidance to engineering for networking, database management, WebSphere Application Server (WAS) etc.
- Perform technical analysis and review of new technologies and identify potential benefits to FEMA engineering under AEES branch
- Participate in requirements working sessions and provide troubleshooting as necessary
- Provide input to project planning, estimation, budget, resources, and technology planning
- Support project management tasks across multiple simultaneous project deployments
- Ensure deliverables are prepared to meet EADIS standards and in accordance with contractual obligations
- Brief senior leadership on the technical status of projects and tasks
- Participate in requirements definition and review
- Perform code/configurations reviews and troubleshooting
- Perform testing on the code/configurations
- Develop/Troubleshoot code for integration of new application architecture
- Create technical documentation
