Job Description
The School of Jazz and Contemporary Music at The New School's College of Performing Arts is seeking a highly qualified Overhire Ringer/Accompanist to join its team. The Overhire Ringer/Accompanist will support, accompany, and perform with ensembles and performance-based projects throughout the college.
Requirements
- Trained musician (genre depends on repertoire for the ensemble)
- Ability to play all assigned instruments, including auxiliaries
- Prior large ensemble experience
- Familiarity with American Vernacular genres
- Excellent sight reading skills
