Job Description
The New York Foundling seeks a Therapist - MST-PREV to support children and families navigate through and beyond foster care, provide direct clinical treatment, and maintain documentation of treatment efforts. The role requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related subject area.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related subject area
- U.S. accredited educational institution or Credential Evaluation for a non-U.S. educational institution
- Ability to accommodate extensive travel requirements
- Ability to provide 24/7 coverage during the week and participate on a weekend on-call rotational schedule
- Ability to attend weekly supervision and consultation and on-call meetings
- Ability to adopt a strength-focused approach with families, stakeholders, and within the program/treatment team
