Job Description
The New York Times is seeking a digitally focused Art Director and Designer to join their Digital News Design team. The successful candidate will design and produce material for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Requirements
- 6+ years of digital design experience
- Experience creating presentations that intelligently incorporate audio, video, still images, illustrations, and text
- Expertise with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier
- Strong portfolio of design work
- Considerable experience with social media publishing and passion for the possibilities of The New York Times' visual storytelling off-platform
