Editorial Assistant, New York Times Licensing

The New York Times Licensing is seeking an editorial assistant to support editors in their daily tasks, including editing, proofreading, and formatting content for various licensed products and services. The role requires a strong understanding of journalistic independence and a commitment to excellence. The position is based in New York City and requires three days of in-office attendance per week.

Requirements

• 2+ years of editing and/or journalism experience
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or journalism
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of AP style
• Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or German (plus)
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Avid consumer of all media and interest in The New York Times brand
