Job Description
The Engineering Manager for DevOps manages the DevOps engineers and the Senior Developer in Test and is accountable for the team's roadmap and results. The role is responsible for performance management, professional development, and overall health of a diverse team of 4 engineers distributed across the U.S. and Europe.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of engineering management experience
- At least 2 years of experience in building and scaling applications, environments, and software development process
- At least 2 years of experience leading and facilitating decision making for technical teams
- Experience managing or working with distributed, or hybrid, teams
- Experience weighing the benefits and trade-offs associated with microservices architecture, cloud computing services (AWS, GCP, etc), containerization, smart-clustering, continuous deployments, cache management, and automation
