The New York Times is looking for a Software Engineer to help build our next generation of internal tools and services to support our production and publishing operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and JavaScript environments
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Experience building applications using React.js
- Experience communicating with internal customers, technical peers, and management
- Experience building applications on a major cloud provider (AWS or GCP)
- Experience building and integrating APIs
- Experience dissecting, understanding, and building complex systems
