Video Journalist, Podcast Video

The New York Times is seeking a temporary Video Journalist to join their Podcast Video team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing newsroom podcast videos, collaborating with the newsroom audience, social, and video teams, and developing different forms of short-form vertical video storytelling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of multimedia storytelling, video editing, and production experience in video news journalism
• Excellent news judgment and ability to work with colleagues and reporters to synthesize news gathering and investigations into informative and engaging podcast video
• Experience creating original news videos that incorporate audio, video, still images, graphics, and text
• Ability to edit video with Adobe Premiere
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
