Job Description
Norman Bird Sanctuary in Middletown, Rhode Island welcomes 20,000 visitors each year to our 300-acre campus and 7 miles of hiking trails. We are seeking a Per Diem Naturalist Educator to provide educational programming with a focus on youth ages 11-14, including field trips, after school programming, summer and vacation camps, guided walks, and Curiosity Lab engagement.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to walk a minimum of two miles on uneven, rocky terrain
- Ability to work outside year-round in all types of weather
- Willingness and ability to pass a nationwide background check
