Job Description
The NRMA Group is seeking an Energy Solutions Engineer to join their team, supporting the design and delivery of EV charging infrastructure across Australia. The successful candidate will develop site concepts, provide engineering support, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver NRMA's national EV charging network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, or similar)
- Knowledge of current Australian regulations, electrical installation rules, and standards
- 5+ years' engineering experience across EV charging, or relevant industry
- Experience managing DNSP connection enquiries, applications and approvals
- Strong AutoCAD skills, with experience producing 2D engineering drawings and design plans
- A safety mindset and commitment to compliant engineering outcomes
- Ability to manage concurrent projects and meet challenging deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams, contractors and suppliers
- A collaborative approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and process efficiency
- Chartered Professional Engineer, RPEQ or VIC PE accreditation is highly regarded
