Job Description
Manly Fast Ferry and Fantasea Cruising are part of Sydney's transport and tourism system, operating under the NRMA Group. The company has an exciting permanent part-time opportunity for a Master <45m to join the NRMA Marine team.
Requirements
- Ensure the safe navigation and operation of the vessel complying with maritime regulations and company guidelines
- Maintain and update vessel systems and maintain accurate paperwork on the vessel
- Manage the crew, crew attendance and performance
- Ensure the overall satisfaction and safety of passengers on the vessel
- The enforcement of vessel security including managing security threats, breach reports, emergency situations and security screening
- Manage the crew to ensure the vessel is clean, safe in good order for service
- Manage the crew compliance, including vessel and land-based training and drills, compliance with maritime regulations, Code of Conduct requirements and Responsible Service of Alcohol
