Job Description
The Nuclear Company is seeking a Category Manager – Indirect/Corporate to lead end-to-end ownership of indirect categories that support corporate functions. The role involves defining category strategies, driving execution, and ensuring high-quality services at a competitive cost. The successful candidate will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into effective sourcing strategies and establish preferred supplier networks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field or relevant experience considered
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, materials coordination, or logistics within energy, construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management for indirect spend
- Strong negotiation and supplier management experience across multiple indirect categories
- Familiarity with procurement processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
