The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking applicants for a full-time clinical-track faculty position as General Practice Residency (GPR) Program Director at the rank of Assistant /Associate Professor in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry.
Requirements
- Develop and implement program policies, objectives, and curriculum in accordance with institutional goals and accreditation standards (e.g., Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA))
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and admissions of residents, ensuring a diverse and qualified cohort
- Develop and manage the program budget, allocating resources effectively to ensure the program's success and sustainability
- Ensure that GPR residents receive comprehensive clinical and didactic education in general dentistry
- Monitor residents' academic performance, provide guidance, and implement remediation plans when necessary
- Conduct regular program evaluations and assessments to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with institutional and accreditation standards
