Job Description
The Medical Assistant works with a multi-disciplinary team of Healthcare Professionals to provide primary care and ambulatory care to students at The Ohio State University. The MA serves as one of the primary initial contacts within clinical services, providing patient care and assisting providers with procedures.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant school
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic Life Support- Health Care Worker (BLS-HCW) certification prior to start date
- Previous front-line customer service experience
