We invite applications for a Post Doctoral Scholar to work under the direct supervision of Prof. Joshua Smyth in the Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University. The specific responsibilities of the candidate will depend on candidate skills, interests and goals, as well as fit with our research priorities. The post doctoral scholar will have extensive opportunities to publish, access to exceptional resources to facilitate their independent research and will be part of a dynamic group of interdisciplinary scholars within an outstanding research-focused department.
Requirements
- PhD in Health Psychology or related discipline.
- Applicants must have obtained or will obtain a PhD (with a focus on health psychology/behavioral medicine or a related domain) by the start of hire and demonstrate a history of high-quality and productive relevant research (as documented by research publications).
- Applicants with experience in relevant research domains (e.g., stress, emotion, intervention), ambulatory assessment methodologies (e.g., EMA, wearable devices), advanced statistical approaches (e.g., MLM), grant writing, and clearly articulated research and training goals are highly preferred.
