Job Description
Maintains open lines of communication and provides input regarding operational issues related to physician requests, preferences and supplies or equipment necessary. Collaborates with CSS and other departments to coordinate patient care. Serves on committees and/or task forces. Promotes quality of care by gaining and sharing necessary knowledge regarding a needed area of patient care.
Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or possess the GED, and must have completed formal Surgical Technology Training Program or the equivalent.
- Previous experience in the Operating Room as Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- CST or TS-C certification is required.
