Job Description
Performs laboratory tests to determine chemical composition, sets up and operates laboratory instruments, and records test results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Associates/bachelor’s degree, or related work experience preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret data, recognize trending, and perform proper corrective action(s) when testing issues arise
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and specifications and/or drawings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and have good multi-tasking skills
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing
- Must be willing to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule
